Psychologie du (dé)confinement

En France, nous arrivons – a priori – à la fin de la période de confinement imposé par la situation de pandémie que nous traversons. Je tenais à rédiger un article pour nous permettre de faire le point sur l’état psychologique de la population, vous invitant à questionner votre santé mentale actuelle. Je reviendrais rapidement sur les effets psychologiques du confinement, du vécu d’une pandémie et tenterais de vous proposer une réflexion sur le déconfinement.

Nous disposons de très peu de littérature scientifique sur les effets psychologiques du confinement. S’il est vrai que cette période de retrait social peut permettre à certain.e.s de faire le point sur leur situation de vie avec calme, de se soutirer d’une certaine forme de pression sociale. Il n’en est pas moins difficile, pour la plupart d’entre nous, de vivre coupé.e de vie sociale et d’activités. Il semblerait que le fait de vivre une période de confinement relativement longue puisse augmenter les risques de développer des troubles anxieux, dépressifs voire de stress post-traumatique. Certains psychiatres voient même apparaître des épisodes psychotiques inédits, liés à cette période qui, tant elle vient bousculer nos habitudes et nos manières de concevoir le monde, ébranle notre fonctionnement habituel.

Vivre au coeur d’une pandémie transforme considérablement notre façon de percevoir le monde et notre rapport aux autres. Il est désormais devenu normal de se méfier des autres êtres humains, de développer des rituels de nettoyage répétitifs ou encore d’espérer la fermeture des frontières nationales. Notre sentiment de sécurité est ébranlé par le risque sanitaire que présente cette pandémie et nos possibilités de se projeter dans l’avenir est mise à mal.

La sortie, le déconfinement est synonyme de joie mais également de peur – du virus, du retour du travail, des responsabilités, de la pression sociale… Il peut être également synonyme de déception puisque la vie que nous retrouverons ne sera pas semblable à celle que nous avons connu avant le début du confinement. Il est possible que cette période soit difficile à vivre pour vous, et cela est entièrement normal. En ce moment de réorganisation psychique, je vous invite à prendre le temps de vous questionner sur votre besoin d’être soutenu, par vos proches et par des professionnel.le.s afin de vous accompagner à travers ces changements.
